About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Cunningham is a senior associate at Branch MacMaster LLP's Toronto office, focusing on general civil litigation and class actions on both plaintiff and defence sides, spanning product liability, occupiers' liability, general negligence, and professional negligence. She has represented clients before the Ontario and BC Human Rights Tribunals, the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Before joining Branch MacMaster in 2022, Elizabeth was counsel at the federal Department of Justice, where she completed her 2L summer and articles. She earned her JD from Thompson Rivers University in 2019 and a BA (Hons) in History and Political Science from Queen's University in 2014, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020 and the British Columbia bar in 2022.
