About Gary
Gary Daniel is a partner at Deeth Williams Wall practising intellectual property law, including trademark, copyright, and trade secrets work and related litigation. His practice runs from prosecuting trademark applications through to litigating IP rights, and he appears before Ontario courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Trademark Opposition Board. With three decades in the field, Gary advises clients on complex licensing issues and has served as intellectual property counsel on major corporate transactions. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1989 and is a registered Canadian Trademark Agent, holding an LLB from the University of Toronto and a BA from Cornell University. Outside the firm, he has long been involved with Special Olympics Canada, having served on its National Board of Directors and continuing as Ombudsperson.
