Bruder Springstead LLP is a small Toronto litigation firm founded by Catherine Bruder and Krista Springstead. The firm works from 18 King Street East in downtown Toronto and has grown to eleven lawyers, six of them partners. Its practice centres on insurance defence and coverage litigation, along with serious personal injury, professional negligence, medical malpractice, commercial general liability, products liability, defamation and general commercial litigation, and the firm's lawyers have appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Bruder earned a B.A. in English from the University of Waterloo, completed a law degree at Osgoode Hall, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994, later completing a mediation program at Harvard and now offering mediation services alongside litigation work. Springstead studied at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario bar in 1995; the Canadian Defence Lawyers association gave Springstead its 2024 Philippa G. Samworth Award for the Advancement of Women in the Legal Profession. Partner Louis Covens, called to the bar in 2013, worked with the Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted before joining the firm and was admitted to the partnership in 2019.
