About Catherine
Catherine Bruder is a founding partner of Bruder Springstead LLP and has practiced civil litigation since being called to the Ontario bar in 1994. She has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as on applications before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Her practice covers serious personal injury, professional negligence, product liability, commercial disputes and insurance coverage disputes. She has since added mediation to her practice and completed a program on mediation and negotiation at Harvard University. Catherine regularly presents seminars to lawyers and insurance professionals on commercial general liability and automobile insurance policies. She earned her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. in English from the University of Waterloo, and belongs to the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Defence Research Institute.
