About Tripta
Tripta Sood is a partner at Bruder Springstead LLP who has practiced solely in insurance law since being called to the bar in 2001. She spent the first part of her career acting for injured plaintiffs at a boutique Toronto personal injury firm before moving to defence work in 2008 at a prominent downtown insurance defence firm, then joined Bruder Springstead in October 2019. She now handles first- and third-party claims involving motor vehicle accidents, disability benefits, medical malpractice, and general liability, appearing before the Superior Court of Justice, FSCO, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and other tribunals. Tripta has authored papers and spoken at continuing education seminars for Osgoode Professional Development and Canadian Defence Lawyers. She graduated from McGill Law in 1999.
