About Yemisi

Yemisi Afolabi's practice spans capital markets and securities, with extensive work in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment funds and asset management. She regularly counsels issuers, underwriters, and fund managers on public offerings, private placements, and the formation and distribution of investment funds. Her work also touches on continuous disclosure obligations, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Yemisi was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 after earning her LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School, and she was called to the Nigeria Bar in 2012. She volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario and the Black Business Law Clinic.
