About Catherine

Catherine Phelps is a senior associate who advises and represents employers across Ontario on workplace law matters, including terminations, grievances, human rights complaints, workplace policies, and employment agreements. She is also frequently retained by employers as an independent third-party investigator in cases involving allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. Catherine earned her law degree with distinction and received the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize for academic achievement. She joined the firm in 2022 after articling and practicing at a national full-service law firm. She remains active in the profession, currently serving on the HRPA's Western Chapter Council and regularly writing and speaking on emerging workplace law topics.
