About Tyler
Tyler Lin joined Donovan Kochman LLP in 2023 after starting his career at a boutique estate litigation firm, and now focuses on complex estate, trust, and capacity disputes. Earlier in his career he handled insurance, securities, and human rights matters at various clinics and firms, mediated small claims cases at the Superior Court of Justice, and worked in international corporate law at a large firm in China. He earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and graduated summa cum laude from York University with an undergraduate degree in philosophy. Tyler is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is recognized in the 2025 and 2026 editions of Best Lawyers Canada, Ones to Watch, for Trusts and Estates. He is a frequent speaker and writer on estate and capacity law topics.
