Jason J. Annibale co-leads McMillan's Construction & Infrastructure Group and has appeared as litigation and arbitration counsel at every level of court in Ontario. He acts in complicated construction disputes, restructuring proceedings, and project finance deals for authorities, special purpose vehicles, lenders, contractors, and owners. His caseload has touched delay and cost overrun disputes tied to force majeure, COVID-19, changed site conditions, and owner interference on projects ranging from rail transit and tunnels to hospitals, schools, and power stations. He speaks often on the Ontario Construction Act, prompt payment, adjudication, and managing project risk, and is a fellow of both the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He has served three terms on the Ontario Bar Association's Construction and Infrastructure Law Section executive and co-authored chapters on construction disputes and dispute resolution in two LexisNexis texts.
