About Mitchell
Mitchell Allison is a partner in McMillan's Commercial Real Estate group in Calgary, advising on mortgage financings, acquisitions, divestitures, development, and commercial leasing. He has worked on more than $600 million in multi-family residential property deals across Canada, including portfolio transactions exceeding $150 million. His practice leans toward developers and landlords of multi-family residential and mixed-use properties, particularly on co-ownership structures, joint ventures, and long-term land leases, and he also advises development trusts on leasing and developing university lands. Mitchell represents financial institutions, purchasers, vendors, developers, landlords, and tenants throughout Alberta and Western Canada. He holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and a degree in economics and political science from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2014.
