About Teri
Teri Liu articled with Dutton Brock and joined the firm as an associate after her call to the Ontario bar in June 2011. Her defence practice spans commercial general liability, personal injury, medical negligence, products liability, occupiers' liability, motor vehicle litigation, defamation, and historical sexual abuse claims. She has also acted for plaintiffs, bringing subrogated claims on behalf of insurers. Teri has appeared before several levels of Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and political science from the University of Toronto with distinction in 2007, then completed her J.D. at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2010. Teri belongs to several professional groups, including the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association, and the Women's Law Association of Ontario.
