About Christopher
Christopher R. Martyr is a partner at Dutton Brock with a general insurance defence litigation practice. He has acted for insurers on personal injury, general liability, property and subrogation matters, and regularly provides opinions on insurance coverage issues. His experience includes trials, appeals and motions at various levels of court in Ontario, as well as appearances before administrative tribunals. He has written articles and spoken at seminars for corporate clients on insurance topics, and lectured at the University of Toronto on the legal environment of business. Christopher earned an Honours B.A. specializing in public policy and administration from York University and his LL.B. from Queen's University, and was called to the Ontario bar in February 2002. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
