About Taran

Taran Dhanda-Sidhu is a senior associate whose litigation practice covers commercial disputes, employment law and insurance defence. She handles shareholder disputes, oppression remedies, director conflicts, contract disputes and derivative actions, and advises professionals in regulated industries on liability matters, while her employment practice acts for employees who were wrongfully terminated or constructively dismissed. She was co-counsel on Telsec Property Corporation v Tan Dat Tran Professional Corporation (2026 ABKB 424), a leading decision on professional liability under Alberta's Health Professions Act. Taran was called to the bar in 2018 and holds an LLB (Honours) from City University London and a BA in philosophy from the University of Calgary.
