About Josie

Josie Britton has a developing labour and employment law practice, advising employers on general workplace matters with a particular interest in wrongful dismissals, human rights, workplace investigations, and labour relations. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2025, holding a J.D. from the University of Calgary and a BSc in Environmental Biology from Queen's University, and has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King's Bench. Before entering private practice, she gained legal research and regulatory experience with the Canadian Institute of Resources Law and Environment and Climate Change Canada.
