About Joseph

Joseph Oppenheim is a partner at Carbert Waite LLP, which he joined in 2011 after practising insurance and commercial litigation at a large regional firm, becoming a partner in 2014. His practice focuses on employment law, commercial litigation, plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, and estate litigation, and he has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. He represents both employees and employers in terminations and human rights matters, plaintiffs in serious personal injury claims, and advises trustees, executors and beneficiaries in estate disputes. He graduated with an LLB from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 and sits on several community boards, including the Calgary Jewish Academy and the Calgary Jewish Community Centre Campus Corporation.
