About Susanne
Susanne Dandenault is a corporate and commercial lawyer at Pitblado Law, called to the bar in Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon, with a practice focused on Aboriginal law and co-operative enterprises. Based in Winnipeg, she advises First Nations, Metis, and Inuit organizations, co-operatives, northern communities, not-for-profits, and privately held businesses across Manitoba and northern Canada on governance, member relations, commercial contracting, capital structuring, financing, real estate, and corporate transactions. She was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 2006 and later to the Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon bars, and holds an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba (1996) and a B.A. from the University of Washington (1993). Dandenault chairs the Sport Manitoba Board of Directors and is a former competitive weightlifter who represented Canada at multiple international championships.
