About Lisa

Lisa Stiver, K.C. is a partner at TDS whose practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on commercial transactions, property conveyancing, financing, and public tendering and procurement. She acts for lenders across Canada in secured financing transactions for Manitoba-based owners and has represented clients in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia on procurement law matters. Lisa chairs the TDS Management Committee, having served as a member since 2017, and also chairs the firm's Business Law Practice Group. She was appointed King's Counsel by the Manitoba government in 2023 and has been ranked by Chambers Canada and recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for banking and finance and corporate/commercial law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction (1995) and a Bachelor of Laws (1998), both from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1999.
