About Jody

Jody is the Executive Chair of the firm, having led its commercial law practice for 18 years before assuming the role. He is recognized as one of Manitoba's leading corporate lawyers, with a regional and national practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, asset transactions and corporate governance for major corporations, public institutions, lenders and pension funds. Jody is of Métis heritage and a citizen of the Red River Métis, and has advised Manitoba First Nations, Tribal Councils and Indigenous organizations on business initiatives promoting economic development. He serves on the boards of Manitoba Blue Cross and the Performing Arts Consortium of Winnipeg, and received his ICD.D designation in 2026.
