About Siobhan

Siobhan McConnell practises primarily in class action and insurance law, with experience in health law and professional liability. She worked at a large national firm until joining Branch MacMaster LLP in 2021, and has advocated for clients in breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, occupiers' liability, personal injury, and professional liability matters before BC's Provincial and Supreme Courts, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Farm Industry Review Board, and various regulatory bodies. Her class action work has involved both plaintiffs and defendants, including matters involving manufacturer misrepresentation, privacy breaches, and historical sexual abuse. Siobhan earned her JD from the University of Victoria in 2015 and a BA (Hons, Criminology, with distinction) from Simon Fraser University in 2012, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2016.
