Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionChristine Galea is a partner in Dolden's Toronto office and Co-Chair of the firm's Class Action Practice Group. She primarily defends class actions at every stage, from certification through settlement or dismissal, and also maintains a broader litigation practice covering trials, arbitrations, applications, and tribunal hearings. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009 and the Bar of Saskatchewan in 2024, holding a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. Her class action work spans mass tort, product liability, professional negligence, employment, and institutional abuse claims, and she has acted as defence and monitoring counsel for sports organizations and in large indemnity claims following class action settlements, including matters involving defective Kitec piping. Christine also defends professionals such as architects, engineers, and financial advisors in liability claims, and she has served as counsel to an insurer's anti-fraud task force. She sits on the Ontario Bar Association's executive committee for its Class Actions Law Section.
