About Sayre
Sayre's practice focuses on First Nations land and business development, including purchases and sales of leasehold properties on Westbank First Nation lands, along with general real estate, corporate and commercial matters, and wills and estate planning and administration. Born and raised in Penticton, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and German from the University of Victoria in 2017, worked in Montreal for Air Canada, and completed a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law at McGill University in December 2021, where he was involved with the Indigenous Law Association. He is a citizen of Métis Nation British Columbia, descended from the Red River Settlement with family roots in the Qu'Appelle Valley, Saskatchewan, and his prior work has focused on self-government agreement negotiations and Aboriginal and Treaty Rights. He is fluent in English and French and joined Pushor Mitchell as an articling student in January 2022.
