About Brent
Brent is a partner in Pushor Mitchell's Family Law group, advising clients on complex property claims involving businesses and high-net-worth individuals, parenting and guardianship issues, relocation, and protection from family violence, along with negotiating and drafting marriage and separation agreements. He is primarily geared toward resolving disputes through litigation and has argued cases at all levels of court in British Columbia, though he recognizes negotiation and mediation as options when appropriate. He also maintains a commercial and civil litigation practice covering breach of contract, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and shareholder disputes. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, earned his Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2012. He sits on the board of the Kelowna Art Gallery and is governance director for Canada Skateboard, the national governing body for amateur skateboard athletes and Olympians.
