About Samuel

Samuel Boivin focuses on civil litigation, primarily family law matters involving contested custody and the financial disputes that arise from separation. He appears before the Superior Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal, and the Court of Québec in cases involving parental authority, child and spousal support, and the partition of family patrimony, including matters involving allegations of family violence or parental alienation. His practice has also extended into private international law, working with valuators, accountants and tax specialists on cases involving foreign matrimonial regimes. He has obtained seizures before judgment and other exceptional remedies for clients. Boivin earned his LL.B. from Université Laval in 2021 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2022. He is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit de la famille du Québec and practises in French and English.
