About Russell

Russell Bailey's practice is focused on litigation, insurance defence, health law, and plaintiff personal injury work. After undergraduate studies at McGill, he lived in Japan for three years teaching English on the JET Program before earning his LLB at UBC. He articled and began practice at a plaintiff-oriented firm in Kamloops, Mair Jensen Blair, before returning to Vancouver in 2007 to join Guild Yule LLP, working in insurance defence, municipal law, and health law. Russell joined Branch MacMaster LLP in November 2021, has appeared at all levels of court in BC and multiple administrative hearings, and volunteers with Access Justice Pro Bono. In 2024 he was recognized by Best Lawyers Canada in Personal Injury Litigation.
