About Roy
Roy is a trial lawyer at ATAC Law focusing on civil litigation and criminal defence. Before joining the firm he worked at a civil litigation firm and a community legal clinic in Victoria, BC. He is also a professional engineer in British Columbia with about ten years of industry experience in mechanical-electrical engineering, steel construction and naval architecture, having worked as an engineer in South Korea, the United States and Canada. He draws on that background to resolve disputes involving complex engineering subject matter. Roy holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, a Master of Engineering Leadership in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is bilingual in English and Korean.
