About James
James is an associate lawyer who practises in both litigation and solicitor-based work. On the litigation side he handles civil litigation, commercial litigation, collections matters, professional liability and business-related disputes, and on the solicitor side he works on independent contractor agreements, incorporation and business acquisitions. He holds a Juris Doctor from the Thompson Rivers University School of Law, earned in 2022, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Services from Douglas College. Before law school he worked as a financial professional for several institutions, and during his studies he was involved with the Pro Bono Student Council of Canada and produced a radio show discussing the legal side of professional sports. He has represented creditors of development companies, including in matters involving bankruptcy. James is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
