About Rebekah
Rebekah is committed to advancing Indigenous rights, racial justice and First Nations self-determination. While at the University of Victoria she served as policy advisor for the Students of Colour Collective, planned the Faculty of Law's Indigenous Perspectives Camp, and was president of UVic's chapter of the Black Law Students' Association, advocating for increased Black student enrolment. She currently serves on the board of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, BC Branch. She earned her J.D./J.I.D. from the University of Victoria in 2023 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024.
