About Alannis

Alannis advocates for the rights and interests of Indigenous communities, believing quality legal representation is central to addressing historical injustices. Before law, she served as Director of Programs at the Northwest Territories Disabilities Council, designing programs for northern and Indigenous communities. During law school she represented clients in administrative and court proceedings with Prisoners' Legal Services and the Rise Women's Legal Centre. She earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2023 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024.
