About Brenda
Brenda practices employment and governance law, acting mainly for employers on workplace disputes, discrimination and accommodation, wrongful and constructive dismissals, harassment, and workplace investigations. She works closely with Indigenous governments and organizations to provide specialized employment advice to tribal councils, societies and First Nation-owned companies, and assists First Nation governments with governance issues such as election code challenges. She conducts workshops on policy implementation and mediations to resolve workplace disputes. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's BC and Alberta chapters. She earned her LL.B. from Dalhousie University and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1994 and the Alberta Bar in 1996.
