About Rebecca
Rebecca Xie joined Schnurr Kirsh Oelbaum Tator LLP after her call to the bar in 2023. She developed an interest in wills and estates law during law school, particularly the interplay between emotional and legal issues in estate disputes. She completed her law degree, graduating with distinction, at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law in 2022, having earlier finished an honours BA, with high distinction, from the same university in 2019. Before joining the firm, she completed a summer term and later articled with the Office of the Children's Lawyer, a branch of Ontario's Ministry of the Attorney General, handling family, child protection, civil litigation, and estate litigation files.
