About Mitchell

Mitchell Rattner practices estate, trust and mental incompetency litigation and advises clients on estate planning and administration. He regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal, and serves as preferred counsel for LawPRO on professional negligence matters involving estates and trusts. Mitchell has sat on the Executive Committee of the OBA Trusts and Estates Law section for several years and is its Vice Chair for 2025-2026. He edits Estate Litigation, 2nd Edition, and has guest lectured at Osgoode Hall Law School. Mitchell holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. with distinction from Queen's University.
