About Jordan
Jordan Oelbaum is a partner at Schnurr Kirsh Oelbaum Tator LLP who practices exclusively in estate and trust litigation and mental incompetency litigation. He represents beneficiaries, estate trustees, claimants, and attorneys under powers of attorney in disputes such as will contests, dependant support claims, contested passing of accounts, will interpretations, trustee disputes, and contested guardianship applications. Jordan earned his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law, in 1992, and was called to the Bar of Michigan that year and to the Ontario Bar in 1995. He has taught estates law as a past instructor for the Law Society's Bar Admission Course and as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and frequently lectures at Law Society and Ontario Bar Association programs. He has authored several papers on estate litigation and contributed to the text Estate Litigation, and has been recognized among the Best Lawyers in Canada in Estates and Trusts since 2013.
