About Rebecca

Rebecca Cochrane is a partner practising corporate and securities law, concentrating on venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. She represents funds, founders, underwriters and companies at every stage, from early financings through to exits and IPOs, and works with owner-operators selling their businesses as well as special committees and boards handling complex transactions. Rebecca teaches Securities Regulation as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School and sits on the board of ComKids, a charity focused on closing technology gaps for youth. She also serves on the faculty of the Board Diversity Network, an initiative co-founded by her firm in 2023. She earned her JD from Queen's University in 2015 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
