About Ari

Ari serves as counsel in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial services, and real estate. He has advised numerous mid-market companies on M&A and corporate finance matters, and also advises on and invests in various real estate ventures. Ari has an entrepreneurial background and has been involved in many different businesses. He was previously a shareholder and director at Astley Gilbert, once described as Canada's largest architectural, engineering and construction printing company, before its sale. He also co-founded Blo Blow Dry Bar, which grew to 130 locations throughout Canada and the United States and was later partially sold to a US-based private equity group. Ari founded and led Melonhead Corp. as CEO, once Canada's biggest chain of children's hair salons, selling it through a private equity deal in 2012. With partners, he also holds stakes in several construction-related businesses and owns industrial and residential real estate in Southwestern Ontario.
