About Alex
Alex practises corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law, working with clients particularly in mining, energy, and sports and entertainment. His recent files include advising NG Energy International on transactions tied to its Colombian operations and providing legal support to Canada Soccer and Canada Basketball. He previously served as a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic, assisting early-stage ventures with financing matters. Alex earned his J.D. from Queen's University and an MBA from the Smith School of Business, and completed his undergraduate degree in business and law at Toronto Metropolitan University. He joined the firm as a summer student in 2020, articled in 2021-2022, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2022.
