About Brett
Brett practises primarily in corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. He first joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and articled there in 2023 and 2024. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, after completing undergraduate studies at Ontario Tech University and an MBA at Laurentian University, and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course. During law school he worked as a research assistant in constitutional law, served as Vice President of the Windsor Law Hockey Player's Association, and was a member of the Corporate Law Club, finishing second in his Corporate Finance course in his final year. Before law school, Brett played on the men's varsity hockey team at Ontario Tech University, where he received the USPORTS All-Canadian Award, and worked as a peer tutor for student athletes. He has also served as a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic.
