About Raylene
Raylene's litigation practice spans administrative law, health law, municipal law, and energy and natural resources matters, and she has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board, and various statutory tribunals. Her master's degree in health administration and her experience helping build regulatory frameworks for professional regulators across Atlantic Canada inform her advice on issues like virtual healthcare, registration, and professional discipline. She earned her J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and her Master of Health Administration, both from Dalhousie in 2020, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2021. Raylene sits on the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society's Fitness to Practice Committee and previously chaired the board of the Halifax Cycling Coalition.
