About Ronen
Ronen Nehmad is an associate at Torys LLP in Toronto. Nehmad's corporate and securities practice covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets transactions. Before joining the firm, Nehmad interned with the World Bank Group's insolvency and debt resolution team in Washington, D.C., and earlier completed an internship with the International Labour Organization in Buenos Aires. Nehmad also completed a secondment at Ontario Power Generation. During law school, Nehmad served as president of the JD/MBA Student's Association, volunteered with Fair Change Community Services at Osgoode Hall, and spent a semester studying at the University of Hong Kong. Nehmad received the Schulich School of Business Gold Medal for the top graduating average in the MBA/iMBA program and was recognized by Osgoode Hall for standing in the top 9 percent of the 2020 graduating class.
