About Eileen
Eileen M. McMahon has worked with entrepreneurs and innovators for more than 30 years and chairs Torys' Intellectual Property practice as well as its Food and Drug Regulatory practice. She advises Fortune 500 companies, major manufacturers and small and medium-sized businesses on intellectual property and regulatory matters spanning life sciences, agribusiness and consumer products. Her work includes helping clients protect and use IP and regulatory assets, respond to recalls and regulatory orders, and navigate laws affecting product sales, with particular experience in patented medicines and PMPRB matters. She also represents investors and companies financing, acquiring or divesting IP and regulatory assets. Eileen is a registered patent and trademark agent in Canada and the United States and holds the Certified Licensing Professional designation from the Licensing Executive Society. She serves on advisory boards for the Food and Drug Law Institute and Canadian Women in Life Sciences, and belongs to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.
