About Rachael

Rachael Gardner works to promote and protect the legal rights of Indigenous clients, using both collaboration and litigation as tools. She partners with communities, individuals, and businesses to understand their stories, identify their goals, and chart a practical path forward. Before joining the firm, she worked as a litigator at a full-service firm in British Columbia, helping clients through all phases of dispute resolution from initial complaint to trial or settlement. Her experience spans business disputes, appeals from administrative and regulatory decisions, and estate litigation, and she has appeared before various courts and tribunals as well as a large commission of inquiry. Rachael has practiced law since 2020 and is licensed in both Ontario and British Columbia. She studied law at the University of Victoria and served as editor-in-chief of the Appeal law journal there.
