About Patrick
Patrick is a corporate and commercial lawyer working out of the Halifax office, with a practice focused on technology contracting, privacy, data governance and cybersecurity. He assists clients in the health, energy, government and fintech sectors with technology transactions, and regularly negotiates master services agreements, software-as-a-service agreements and data sharing agreements. He holds a Health Law Certificate from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law and works with health-sector clients on technology procurement, data sharing and privacy compliance. Before law school, Patrick owned and operated a music recording studio and worked in marketing and business analytics at a Halifax music-technology startup, experience he draws on in negotiating technology contracts. He holds a J.D. from Dalhousie University and a B.B.A. (Hons.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2023. Patrick is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Technology Law Association.
