About Oliver

Oliver practises labour and employment, human rights, and occupational health and safety law from the Halifax office, with a focus on the construction, government, education and private client sectors. He has guided clients through the small claims court process, negotiated settlements, and represented clients at Labour Board hearings, and has also re-written by-laws for a non-profit organization. Oliver holds a J.D. from Queen's University and a B.A. from Acadia University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2024. He was named the 2020 AUS Lineman of the Year during his time as a varsity football player.
