Negin Sari is a lawyer at Gelman & Associates who brings a criminal lawyer's perspective to family files. The aim in Negin's work is getting matters resolved.

Criminal law came first. Negin articled in that field with lawyer Robert Geurts, kept practising it after the 2020 call to the bar, and then brought family law into the practice. Negin also has professional training on narcissism and narcissistic abuse.

Negin has held a range of jobs in the legal world since age 17 and chose to become a lawyer out of a wish to help people and to see justice done for everyone. That path ran through a sociology degree at York University and a law degree earned in the United Kingdom, at the University of Sussex.

There's a musician behind the lawyer, too. Negin plays the violin professionally and picked up the instrument three decades ago. Away from the office, the list includes travelling, cooking, yoga and learning new languages.
