About Michael
Michael Coristine spent his first decade in practice as a senior Crown Attorney in Toronto, successfully prosecuting hundreds of matters at every level of trial court. He now leads the firm's criminal defence work, taking on complex cases involving homicide, guns and gangs, large-scale fraud, and sexual assault, with particular focus on domestic assault, youth justice, and bail hearings. In his family law practice, which often involves high-conflict files, he draws on his courtroom experience and negotiation skills to advocate for clients. Before law school, Michael worked as an accounting executive in the entertainment industry. He earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014.
