He has significant cross-border experience advising on Canada/US acquisitions and private equity transactions, and worked for several years at the London, UK office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Nathan clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal from 1993 to 1994, earned his LLB from the University of Victoria in 1993 and his BA from the University of Manitoba in 1990, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1995 and admitted to the Law Society of England & Wales in 1999 (currently non-practising).
