About Peter

Peter J. Mogan is the founder of Mogan Daniels Slager LLP, active since 1978 as a lawyer, businessman, and mediator in Ontario and British Columbia. He is known as a leading mid-market M&A legal advisor in British Columbia, has advised dozens of companies on employee ownership, and is a frequent speaker and writer on M&A, private equity, and employee ownership. Peter serves as a director or advisor to the boards of several BC and international companies and a number of not-for-profits, chairs a MacKay CEO Forum Group, and is Vice-Chair of Food for the Hungry, a global relief and development NGO. He earned his BA from the University of Toronto in 1973 and his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1976, completed a Diploma at Regent College in 1990, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 1978 and in British Columbia in 1990.
