About Steve
Steve Parr concentrates on personal estate planning and business law, drafting wills, living and testamentary trusts, powers of attorney, and corporate secondary wills. His work also covers small-market M&A deals, corporate reorganizations involving estate freezes and family trusts, and professional incorporations for doctors, lawyers, dentists, and other regulated professionals in BC. He guides executors and beneficiaries through estate and trust administration, including preparing applications for grants of probate and administration. Before starting Parr Business Law in 2017, Steve built and sold a vacation rental business, an experience that shapes his approach to advising entrepreneurs. He earned his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2014 and a B.A. in Gender Studies, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2015. He sits as a director of the B.C. Small Firm and Solo Practitioner Society and is a TEP affiliate member.
