Geoff Peters is a partner at Mogan Daniels Slager LLP focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business law, and commercial transactions for clients ranging from entrepreneurs and private company owners to multinational corporations, First Nations economic development entities, and investment firms. His practice covers business sales and purchases, commercial agreements, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, and capital raising, with particular experience in clean technology and sustainability, including work for government-owned and commercial parties on resource development projects. Before relocating to Vancouver in 2018, he was a partner at an international law firm's London office and earlier worked for two years in Calgary with a Canadian national firm, giving him transaction experience across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Canada, and the United States. He earned his B.A. from Oxford University in 1990 and completed his legal qualifications at the College of Law in 1992 and 1993, along with an M.A. from Saint Mary's University in Halifax in 2005. He was called to the bar in England and Wales in 1995, in Alberta in 2006, and in British Columbia in 2018.
