About Rachel

Rachel Wong is an associate at Mogan Daniels Slager LLP specializing in private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formation, and related transactions on both the buy and sell sides, along with commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, corporate reorganizations, and debt and equity financing. She began her career at an international law firm in Hong Kong before moving in-house as Asia regional counsel, experience that gave her insight into cross-border transactions and business practices. She is Vice-President of Development for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC and a Director of Sponsorships for the Association of Women in Finance, and received the ACG BC 2025 Rising Star Award. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Warwick in 2010 and her PCLL from the University of Hong Kong in 2012, and was called to the bar in Hong Kong in 2016 and in British Columbia in 2022.
