Tax LawMiranda practises in general civil litigation and administrative law, having appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia as well as before administrative boards, tribunals and other decision-makers. Her administrative law work involves complex disputes between individuals or corporations and regulatory bodies, professional discipline bodies, and other administrative decision-makers. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018 and her law degree there in 2021, completing a third of her studies in French to earn a Certificate in Common Law in French from the University of Ottawa. She summered with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice, completed a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Kelowna, articled at Pushor Mitchell, and was called to the British Columbia bar in December 2022. She is originally from Salmon Arm, BC, and sits on the UBC Okanagan Behavioural Research Ethics Board.
